Richardson, who won the event at the wheel of his Parkway Generators S-10 utilizes an APD 750 cfm alcohol carburetor, APD belt drive fuel pump, bypass regulator, and fuel Log on his winning machine. Bogacki uses a nearly identical APD setup on his Mickey Thompson Tires Vega. In addition to his $50,000 runner-up, Bogacki also took runner-up honors in Fridays $10,000-to-win event.
Were proud to have Scotty and Luke running our product successfully, said APDs John Kyle. They both race for a living, so we know that they cant afford to run any product that they dont believe is equal to or better than anything else on the market.
I think a lot of sportsman competitors associate our carburetors and fuel pumps with Super Pro and index-style racing, said Kyle. Im sure thats due to the success that guys like Luke and Scotty, along with Troy Williams, Jr., Edmond Richardson, Sherman Adcock, Jr., and more have enjoyed with our products.
