At the NHRA Southern Nationals in Atlanta, GA legendary sportsman competitor Edmond Richardson drove his Undercover Motorsports dragster to the Super Comp victory. Edmond utilizes an APD 1150 carburetor, along with the complete APD belt drive fuel system.
Meanwhile, defending DragRaceResults.com/Goodyear Bracket Series Super Pro Champion Rustin Mayse was busy cementing his legacy at the Big Bucks Bonanza at Farmington Dragway. There, Mayse claimed the $50,000 main-event victory at the wheel of his American Race Cars dragster. Mayse uses an APD 1150 alcohol carburetor on his machine, in addition to the complete APD belt drive fuel system.
With NHRA and big dollar bracket wins in the books for APD on the weekend, Daryl Hamlin, Jr. completed the tri-fecta by winning Quick Rod at the IHRA Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am event at Tulsa Raceway Park on Sunday. Hamlins win in his Mullis Dragster moved him into the lead in IHRA Division 4 standings. Hamlin, like Mayse, utilizes an APD 1150 alcohol carburetor, and like both Mayse and Richardson also depends on APD for his complete fuel system: Belt drive fuel pump, bypass regulator, and fuel log.
