Todd Bones Ewing started off the weekend by claiming a $10,000 victory in his Huntsville Engine & Performance Mullis 4-link Dragster Friday night at the Original Racers Appreciation Series event at Montgomery Motorsports Park. Ewing cruised to the final round win on his opponents red-light, but ran a string of consistent 4.5 E.T.s to take home the cash.
Three hundred miles away, and one day later, Shane Carr drove his Mullis 4-link dragster to a victory worth $7,500 at the Mega Bucks Open at Memphis Motorsports Park. Carr, who is backed by BTE and Jegs among other marketing partners, wheeled to the victory over a deep and talented field.
Troy Williams, Jr. capped off the weekend by driving his Mullis Race Cars team car to the $10,000 win in Montgomery on Sunday. The touring professionals latest win in a long list of triumphs was aided by his Mullis Top Dragster Swing Arm machine, as the car moved under .01 throughout eliminations while running in the mid-4.60 range.
