Boes, a successful bracket racer for several years, earned his Super Series appearance by virtue of a stellar 26-4 round win record at the always tough Norwalk Raceway Park. Boes relies on an APD Alcohol 1150 atop his Racetech 4-link dragster to provide the consistency needed to achieve such a feat.
Rick Baehr is in the midst of a banner year. While the young no box competitor has built up a strong reputation locally in the past, the 2005 campaign has brought him national attention as one of the premier no box drivers in the country. Baehr also compiled a 26-4 record at his home facility, Milan Dragway. Additionally, he took the top spot in one of the largest no box events of the season, by claiming a $15,000 victory at the Mid-Michigan Motorplexs No Box Nationals in August. Baehr uses an APD prepared 750!
